In the heart of Harlem, the studio at stadiumred has a rich history as the former home of studios founded by free jazz pioneer Ornette Coleman.
The studio was originally designed and recently renovated under the consultation of Alan Fierstein of Acoustilog, Inc. Norah Jones recorded her Grammy winning album "Come Away with Me" at Alan's Sorcerer Sound Studios. The studio at stadiumred is comprised of a 900-sq/ft live room, a 300-sq/ft drum room, a 200-sq/ft vocal booth, and a large 400-sq/ft control room. The large live room maintains warmth and comfort while offering spacious accommodation.
The large control room can accommodate 10-12 people comfortably with guest seating at the center of the action. Custom Main Monitors have plenty of sub-pumping bass that compliment the large listening room environment and a forty-two inch plasma makes video viewing easy. Centered on a Digidesign Pro Tools HD 3 Accel system and a thirty-two fader D-Control, this ICON empowered surround sound room is perfect for any production. For the usual entourage that comes with recording sessions, stadiumred has a lounge with plenty of amenities (42" plasma monitor, X-Box, DVD-Player, etc). A warm vibe enhances the state of the art equipment at stadiumred, providing the right atmosphere for making a great production.
