For the past few days La Dispute from No Sleep Records has been in and out of the studio working on a few new tracks with producer Andrew Everding (Member of “Thursday” – Epitaph Records). They have split there time between the A & C4 room at the facility and have been working with team engineer Joseph Pedulla. The band has been discussing their progress and have posted some really cool shots of them working on their blog. For a little bit of information on the band and to check out there blog see below:
ABOUT: La Dispute is a five-piece band from Grand Rapids, MI. Most frequently referred to as Post-Hardcore (but sometimes also Progressive Rock and Screamo), La Dispute has spent roughly the last year of its existence writing and recording their first full length album, called “Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair,” in hopes of accurately displaying their growth both as individuals and as a single artistic unit while creating an end product that encourages the listener to both think and feel.

This past week the recording studio at Stadiumred was taken over by BET & Harlem Hip Hop Tours for the filming of BET’s hit TV series called “The Deal.” Scenes were shot for multiple episodes throughout the day. One of the episodes included a special interview with superstar Hip Hop group Cypress Hill. It was a long day of shooting, but a lot of fun and we here at Stadiumred are happy to know our new friends over at BET.
“BET delivers hip-hop culture, style, and entertainment with a brand new twist on The Deal. Hosts Memphitz & Diamond Kuts take The Deal to the next level, giving you the best in hip-hop music videos, along with exclusive interviews with your favorite artists, breaking news, celebrity gossip from around the country, and, as always, the latest in music.” -BET

“Just weeks after first single “Over” hit the net, another track from Drake’s highly-anticipated debut, “Thank Me Later,” has leaked. “Shut It Down,” produced by Harlem-based Omen and longtime collaborator Noah “40″ Shebib and featuring The-Dream, is an R&B song about “empowering women,” Drake originally told Billboard.com late last year.”
Omen has been and is currently working with the Drake camp both at Stadiumred and in other locations. Omen’s other current work includes producing for Avery Storm, Charles Hamilton, and Lil’ Wayne’s most recent mixtape.

“In late January, Just Blaze closed the doors on his kingdom at Baseline Studios. The iconic setup was where he crafted some of the most celebrated and artistically successful New York rap records of the past decade (including ‘The Blueprint’ and ‘The Black Album’). The plan was that Just would make a move uptown and construct a new headquarters at the Stadiumred compound in Harlem, and now we’ve got the official story and scoop as to how that’s all going down.” – TheBoomBox
