Event Registration Online for Stadiumred Masters Series: Avatar Music Score Postmortem with Chance Thomas

On October 28th, Stadiumred will kick off a new series of expert audio panels held at the Stadiumred facility and featuring some of the music and audio industry’s best. The “Masters Series” will feature regular panels and presentations by industry “Masters” working in Music, Video Game Audio, TV/Film Audio and more. This will include top engineers, mixers, masterers, producers, composers, managers, agents and business executives.

To launch the new series, Stadiumred has invited world famous video game audio composer Chance Thomas to come to Stadiumred and give a presentation on creating the music and sound for Avatar: The Game. Chance’s talk is a Stadiumred East Coast exclusive and has only ever been given twice before (both times on the West Coast). Chance’s discussion on Avatar premiered at this years GDC (Game Developers Conference) and was the highest rated and reviewed talk of hundreds given at the conference.

New York, NY (October 13, 2010) – Stadiumred, in conjunction with ZS Events, is proud to present an Official 2010 CMJ Showcase at the Delancey on October 22, 2010. The multi-level venue and bar which includes two floors of music and a stellar patio space will play host to feature performances by artists that are sure to captivate.

With DJ Chachi & The Chainsmokers upstairs and performances by artists/bands such as Hank And Cupcakes and Jared Evan downstairs, the question isn’t where people will want to enjoy their evening, it will be on which floor!

For the next three months Stadiumred and The Deli Magazine have partnered together to offer an amazing chance to win discounted and even FREE studio time for New York based bands. The competition has been running for a month already and has proven to be a crowd pleaser. With over 300 local bands signing up for the first round, the competition was incredible to say the least.

Each month our team sorts through hundreds of entrees and chooses one winning act that receives a free day of studio time in our premier Studio A. In addition, our team also chooses ten lucky runner ups that each receive half price days in Studio A. The idea here is to give back. We want to give up and coming acts a chance to have access to a top notch studio and really see what it’s like to be in that environment.

This months winner is Deli Magazine regular “Lights Resolve”. Not the typical rock troupe, the New York born and bred band cater to hard rockers, pop fanatics, and everyone in between, with catching songs defined by nonconforming vocal melodies, distinctive guitar modulations that intertwine with ornate bass riffs, and complex, hard-hitting rhythmic styles.
