A few months ago we mentioned an exciting project by a female duo called Lucius that was worked on at Stadium Red. The two singers recorded their vocals and mixed the project in Studio C4 at Stadium Red with engineer Ariel Borujow. The debut album is called “Songs from the Bromley House” and was just featured in this months issue of The Deli Magazine.
“The two singers from Lucius (Jess & Holly) are a dangerous tag team, sounding powerful without becoming overbearing, tender without becoming too cutesy. Meeting while in college at Boston before traveling to live in Bushwick, they must know each other well, as their voices work together in an uncannily close relationship.” – The Deli

We are honored to announce that Stadium Red has been featured in the “Editor’s Note” and “Class of 2011″ sections of this Mix Magazine. Mix is one of the few publications out there covering every aspect of the recording studio and live music industries.
In the “Editor’s Note” section titled “Empire State of Mind,” Tom Kenny (Editorial Director) discusses the revival of the music scene in New York City. After an account of what many thought was the death of the recording studio scene, he discusses the revival happening today and mentions us among other great NYC recording studios leading the way.
In the “Class of 2011″ section, three of our studios are featured as the best new rooms of 2011. Included is the renovation of our renowned Studio A, Just Blaze’s new Studio B and our Mastering Suite.
