Stadium Red Mix Engineer and Founder of Westward Music Group, Ariel Borujow, was asked by SonicScoop.com to test and review Blue Microphones brand new mic called “Spark”. Blue Microphones have always had a reputation for making great-sounding microphones at reasonable prices; thus, when Ariel was asked to do the review, he had no hesitations.
Ariel used both Studio A and Studio C4 at Stadium Red to test out the mic. Part of the shootout was done with The Clatty Lads, a NYC-based folk/rock/pop/country band and the other with guitarist Maki Athanasiou.
Ariel’s full review, with audio samples included, is up on sonicscoop.com. To check it out goto: http://www.sonicscoop.com/2011/07/06/blue-microphones-spark-review-by-ariel-borujow/
